Finding, not searching: Findings Navigator
Keeping track of findings in oncology imaging over the entire patient history can sometimes be quite a challenge. Multiple lesions, multiple time-points, and multiple readers can often result in countless findings. syngo.via’s unique Findings Navigator automatically collects all your findings on-the-fly while you read the case. You never need to repeat what you have already finished. With the Findings Navigator, retrieving and toggling between findings for detailed information about a lesion’s properties is as easy as a single click. It will always bring you back to the same context as when you first collected the finding: the same 2D or 3D image, the same layout, and the same window settings – a bit of a “findings déjà vu.” The Findings Navigator facilitates accelerated reading and your list of findings can be elegantly used as bookmarks during clinical demonstrations such as tumor board meetings.
Insightful disease orientation
With syngo.via, you can create disease-specific reports right away. These are tailored reports that allow the reading physician to make statements about the overall impression and therapy recommendations. For example, in tumor evaluation, context-specific tools such as fast 3D lesion segmentation can provide results in seconds. The dedicated oncology report visualizes the diagnosis and provides important facts and results from imaging and biopsies at one glance – including key images and findings details, such as quantitative results per lesion and change over time for trending analysis.
Effective information sharing and communication
The reading physician needs to effectively share results with clinical partners involved in each case – and results need to be communicated to patients. This can be easily done with syngo.via and its networked setup; creating new possibilities like easy second opinion and on-call scenarios: Reading physicians can use the Findings Navigator to elegantly present cases or distribute the context-specific reports to referring physicians. Clinical partners in different locations can review CT, MR, and PET data the way they need. For example, surgeons can plan an intervention by navigating through the case in 3D, instead of looking at static 2D images. Oncologists can review lesions with advanced measurement tools. Referring physicians can access syngo.via WebReport1 to review findings and related images. Last but not least, 3D visualization can be used for patient communication.
